The dalli group publishes its first sustainability report
A transparent presentation of our progress, successes and challenges
Stolberg, 1 November 2024 – The dalli group is pleased to announce the publication of its first sustainability report. This report documents our commitment to a sustainable future and sets a significant milestone in our endeavour to promote responsible action and drive positive change in society and the environment.
In times of growing challenges due to climate change, resource consumption and social inequality, it is more important than ever for the dalli group to take a leading role in integrating sustainable practices into all areas of business. The sustainability report provides a transparent presentation of our progress, successes and challenges on the road to sustainable development.
Our approach is based on a comprehensive understanding of the impact of our activities. We strive to minimise our environmental footprint, assume social responsibility and create long-term added value for our stakeholders. Innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement are the cornerstones of our sustainability strategy.
The report contains detailed information on our goals, key performance indicators and initiatives. We report on measures to protect the environment, improve working conditions and promote social development in the communities in which we operate. We pay particular attention to the promotion of diversity, equality and inclusion as well as our commitment to ethics and transparency.
Only green electricity from 2025
For us, sustainability is a continuous journey that requires constant adjustments. We are determined to continuously improve and develop innovative solutions to make our contribution to global sustainability goals. For example, the dalli group will have reduced its production-related CO2 emissions by at least 42 per cent by 2030 compared to 2020. The recycling rate for the packaging materials used for all items will increase to at least 80 per cent by 2030. In order to achieve these goals, we are taking concrete measures and will, for example, only use green electricity and purchase palm oil from sustainable sources from 2025.
The dalli group’s strategic focus on sustainability is clearly defined: We want to organise our business processes in such a way that they combine long-term success with a positive impact on the environment and society. This requires consistent action and constant self-reflection.
We are aware of the responsibility that every company and every individual bears. We have therefore implemented a comprehensive sustainability management system that ensures that sustainability is anchored in every aspect of our actions. We promote a culture of responsibility and commitment that extends far beyond the boundaries of the company. The time to act is now. Together, we can chart a course that will enable future generations to live in health and well-being and preserve the diversity of life on our planet.
