Dual study programme for
Business Administration Practice Plus (m/f/d)
Do you want to study, earn money and gain practical experience at the same time? Are you interested in commercial business processes? Then a dual study programme in business administration is just right for you.
Your tasks
The training-integrated Business Administration Plus degree programme at the FH Aachen integrates the Bachelor of Science degree and the three-year IHK training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d).
Your apprenticeship starts in August with a practical phase at dalli. During your practical phases, you will work in various administrative departments, such as Purchasing, Sales or Marketing.
After the first six months, you will begin your degree programme. Here you will gain a lot of theoretical knowledge, which you can combine with your practical assignments. From now on, you will work at dalli during the lecture-free periods, study from Monday to Thursday and attend vocational school in Stolberg on Fridays.

Dual students of the dalli group
Katrin Reuter, Dual Student Business Administration Plus, Stolberg “When I was looking for an apprenticeship, I already knew that I wanted to combine studying with practical work. Today I can say that was the right decision. The variety between the theoretical phases at Aachen University of Applied Sciences and the practical assignments at dalli ensured that it was never boring and that I was able to apply the knowledge I had learnt directly. It is particularly exciting when practical examples are given during the lectures to promote understanding, and I recognise exactly these examples from my time at dalli or I can think of many more examples of how things can work in practice. This dovetailing makes the training so interesting and varied. Thanks to the good support at dalli, the organisation runs smoothly and I never feel left alone. I enjoy coming here and would choose the dual study programme at dalli again and again.”

Erik Dahmen, Dual Student Business Administration Plus, Stolberg “At the end of my school years, I was still undecided as to whether an apprenticeship or a degree programme was the right choice for my career path. In the dalli group, I have found a partner that offers me the opportunity to combine theory and practice. I find it particularly exciting to see the business processes of a manufacturing company in their entirety and to learn the commercial activities across departments. This variety and working in different teams not only teaches me flexibility in the job, but also strengthens my social skills and how to deal with a wide variety of situations. After the introductions in the specialised departments, I was quickly encouraged to work independently and take on responsibility. All these components give me the best possible preparation for my future career. Another aspect that makes dalli the perfect practical partner for me is the international nature of the company. In addition to international customers and suppliers and the opportunity to gain experience in a foreign plant, I will be spending my next semester abroad.”

Nina Reichartz, Business Administration Plus dual student, Stolberg “At the dalli group, I am perfectly prepared for my future career. The combination of theory at the university of applied sciences with direct practice in the company offers a lot of variety and you are given interesting tasks in the individual departments. You are given a lot of freedom for individual learning and to organise your studies and yet, if you need it, you can always rely on help from the team, whether it concerns organisation or the successful completion of exams.”
