Bernd Söllner takes over management
in the Personal Care division
Stolberg, 19 March 2026 – The dalli group is strengthening its research and development in the area of personal care and is further expanding its innovation expertise in the growth segment of facial care and sun protection, among other things. Bernd Söllner will take over as Head of Research and Development Personal Care on 1 May 2026. Söllner succeeds the long-standing Head of R&D Dr Stephan Teichmann, who most recently managed the department at the Flörsheim-Dalsheim site on an interim basis.
Bernd Söllner has more than two decades of experience in the consumer goods industry. Most recently, he was Head of Research & Development / Quality & Compliance Personal and Home Care at the Mibelle Group, where he was responsible for an international development network and shaped numerous innovation projects in the areas of personal care, sustainable raw materials – such as the use ofCO2 as a raw material – and sun protection.

Over the course of his career, Söllner has worked intensively on the development of modern body care and sun protection formulations. In addition to effectiveness, aspects such as skin compatibility, sustainability of raw materials and regulatory requirements play an increasingly important role.
Bernd Söllner says of his move: “I am particularly attracted by the combination of technological expertise and the dalli group’s strong market position in the private label business. Together with the team, I want to provide new impetus in product development and drive forward innovative solutions for our retail partners.”
In his new role, Söllner will be responsible for the further development of the personal care innovation pipeline and will further strengthen the dalli group’s expertise in key categories such as skin, body and sun care as well as aerosols.
