Sustainability
Our path into the future
Achim Beck on the sustainability strategy at the dalli group
As our company’s sustainability officer, I see it as my duty to think not only as a representative of our organisation, but also as part of a global community that is at a crossroads. We are facing a challenge that could not be greater: the survival of humanity. Unfortunately, this explosive issue has not yet been recognised everywhere in society.
The time to act is now. We have the opportunity to change course and embark on a path that not only enables our children and grandchildren to live in health and well-being, but also preserves the diversity of life on our planet. Let us take this path together.
Strategic orientation
Our strategic focus on sustainability is clearly defined and ambitious. We endeavour to design our business processes in such a way that they combine long-term success with a positive impact on the environment and society. It is a path full of challenges that we can only take with consistent action and constant self-reflection.
Focussing on the essentials
At the centre of our efforts is a focus on the essentials: the health of our planet and the well-being of people. We recognise that economic success must not come at the expense of the environment or society. That is why we work closely with our stakeholders to ensure that our business practices are ethical, transparent and designed for the long term.
Responsibility and action
Every company and every individual bears responsibility. It is not enough to wait for regulations or to shift responsibility onto others. We must act proactively. We have introduced a sustainability management system that ensures that sustainability is anchored in every aspect of our actions. We promote a culture of responsibility and commitment that extends far beyond the boundaries of the company.
