We face major challenges – climate change, social justice, economic stability – not just as individuals, but as a society as a whole and as a company. These challenges are more pressing and urgent than ever before. That is why we must shape our business activities in such a way that we respect our planet’s ecological limits, whilst also combining long-term economic success with social responsibility and creating viable solutions.
Now is the time to persevere in pursuing and expanding the course we have set, and to drive our goals forward proactively and ambitiously, so that we – and future generations – can shape our lives in such a way that they can be lived in a society based on solidarity and equality, within responsible companies, on a unique and liveable planet, under healthy living conditions. Let us embark on this journey together.

Our strategic focus on sustainability is clearly defined and ambitious. We strive to design our business processes in such a way that they combine long-term success with positive impacts on the environment and society. It is a path fraught with challenges, which we can only follow through consistent action and constant self-reflection.

At the heart of our efforts lies a focus on what really matters: the health of our planet and people’s well-being. We recognise that economic success must not come at the expense of the environment or society. That is why we work closely with our stakeholders to ensure that our business practices are ethical, transparent and designed for the long term.
Responsibility and action
Every organisation and every individual bears responsibility. It is not enough to wait for regulations or to shift the responsibility onto others. We must take proactive action. We have introduced a sustainability management system that ensures sustainability is embedded in every aspect of what we do. We promote a culture of responsibility and commitment that extends far beyond the boundaries of our organisation.
